vette 69 custom

hello,
several weeks ago i'd started building a corvette69 from revell that i'm going to customizing a bit
it's a two tone color paint ,black and gun metal both from tamiya.
the body has a plastiprimer to keep it elastic and them i primed it with primer from glasurit

what i have to do for get the pictures visiual

you gotta click on the Image button. Once, then paste your link, then click the Image button again, and it should work. The image button should be at your right. under the "Soulig." one.

Weird... What is your image host?

i did it like you said but it seems it doesn't work or i do something wrong

Well, as I said on my second post, what is your image provider? Photobucket? Another one? Or are you trying to link it directly from your hard drive?

Cuz if so, it won't work. You need an image provider, aka a host. www.Photobucket.com is one of them. I know other around here use Fotki and some even some other hosts...

i'm using photolead 5 also i try to take a copy of the picture but i can't paste it on the forum

Hi, to send a pictures here, need to have an photos host site, like Fotki, Photobucket.

To send a pictures,
1st- You copying the "url" of your photos in "jpg" format.
2nd- you press "image" button here, and you see that sign "img*
" .
3rd- you paste your photo "url" like this, http://images23.fotki.com/v763/photos/5/208565/8619996/023-vi.jpg
and 4th- you repress the "image*" button and you see this sign "/img"

and the result looking in post as this on your message writing, ( i removed the "]" and the "[" volontary to permit to you what then you see on the writing section)

When is all correct you see in your message ,something like this, on the forum.

so let's try again.like i said i'm started to build a corvette69 from revell us
and give a little customizing to it



i primed the body with plastic primer to keep it flexible and then i sprayed it with primer from glasurit.
after that i sanded the body to eliminate the imperfections and preparing it for it's color


this is a picture where i mistcoated with the basecolor black
on the other pictures is it covered with black



on the following pictures i sprayed the second color on "gun metal" from tamiya and also you can have an idea for the rims i'm going to use

and least but not last the dash



so now i'm going to do the interior and then posting more pictures see you

like a promised i build up the interior also other little things


here i sprayed brown from revell and when it's still wet i added some embossing powder to make carpet

these are the door panels with inserts that i colored leatherbrown from modelmasters


the seats are from a lancer evo that i reproduced

Very nice! I like that kind of "modern" touch on yhour Corvette.

thanks for the good reactions and tips .it gives me a nitro boost

so today a little update

i'm working on the chassis,so far so good,but i have to narrow the rear of the chassis to fit the 20inch wheels.So what i did is cut of the pinholes for the rearaxle and place them somewhere else.After i did that i removed them completely.





But then i had a little problem,how i'm gonna attach the rearaxle on the chassis.I drilled a hole thru the rearaxle and the chassis and attached it with a rod .Also i narowwed the rearaxle to let it fit.





Than i reworked the springleaf and swaybars to let the hole thing fit



On the front i had not so much to do only cut off a bit of the springcoils so that the front axle drop a bit



And for last the engine i will keep it black with som chrome accents



that's all folks

i gave the engine also sparkplugs those are homemade

today i finished the vette.i'm very pleased with it and the knowing that i did nothing for several months.Personally i think it could be better,but let me now the opinion of you guys
