'32 Ford Sharkmouth Sedan

FIRST. THE INSPIRATION.


I'll be using the frame from the AMT '32 Phantom Vickie Kit. I cut out all of the mud thats not needed and cleaned it up a bit. Also cut the front horns off. I still need to fill in a whole lot of sink holes along the rails.

Heres the radiator after cutting and reshaping it to fit the dropped grill shell.

Grill shell after cutting and filing the excess material away to drop it down even with the cowl.

Top chopped and filled in. Firts top chop I've done and I learned a few things that I will definately remember next time I do this. For example; always make sure the sections actually line up before sanding away. I have to add some filler to the top because I goofed it up and instead of being a smooth surfae it is now more like a stepped surface. >:( But it can be fixed.

Here are most of the components and their approx. location. The front wheels I used for mockup are for mockup purposes only. The ones pictured here are the ones I will be using. I still need to order the SCOT blower kit and a few other items from RMCoM as soon as I have the finances.

The front end might come up about 1/32" more. Right now I'm working on making some quarter eliptical leafsprings work out front which means the leafspring on the I-Beam axle will be removed. I still have quite a bit to do and collect. I am trying to make the interior look like the cockpit of a fighter plane. I'm also working on the interior panels. Debating between either the skinned look with some speed holes or making it look like its covered in military canvas. Sooooo many decisions.

Blower, ailettes frein avec Batterie / ailettes plaques support, Ardun kit Head, et Thickstun ailettes Air Cleaner. Je ne sais pas si quelqu'un peut me comprendre, mais les images valent mille mots. J'ai juste besoin de voir les images les autres bâtiments. Est-ce que quelqu'un sait d'un programme de traduction?

good morning, as you say, photographs are " eloquent "! I use a translation program which name : "voila". I do not know if you can use the same ! your job on this rod is remarkable bravo!

Rat Rods sont pas la tasse de thé de tout le monde, mais ma version ne sera pas aussi miteux que le 1:1. Mine aura plus d'une saveur traditionnelle à elle. Toutes les pièces de la vitesse, la transmission et la suspension sera traditionnel. Fondamentalement, la seule chose qui ne sera pas traditionnel sera le combo roue.

Rat Rods are not everyone's cup of tea, but my version will not be as ratty as the 1:1. Mine will have more of a traditional flavor to it. All the speed parts, drive train, and suspension will be traditional. Basically, the only thing that will not be traditional will be the wheel combo.
